Welcome to the Mt Gravatt District Primary Schools Sports Association website.

Mt Gravatt District is one of four districts which together form Metropolitan East Region.

The Mt Gravatt  Association represents primary schools in Brisbane South and is bounded by West End SS to the north and Rochedale South SS to the south. 

Mt Gravatt comprises two sub-districts; Ekibin sub-district and Nathan sub-district.  In 2010, twenty state primary schools and twelve independent primary schools were affiliated with the association.  This membership represented 12079 primary school students.

In 2010, the District offered representative honours in 16 sports and fielded 21 teams at Metropolitan East Regional Carnivals. Representation was also offered on an individual basis in golf, boys hockey and boys softball. In 2010, 514 eleven and 1 twelve year old students represented the District at Regional Carnivals. A great many went on to regional and state representation.

Highlights of the year included the three major carnivals: Swimming with 315 competitors, Cross Country with 488 competitors and Track & Field with 740.

The association also facilitated a winter interschool sport competition in 5 sports and a summer competition in 8 sports.
